[Workshop] How to Open Science… in Earth and Human History Research
May 13 @ 10:00 - 13:30

Open Science strengthens research and researchers, for example, by improving reuse for new research questions, fostering collaborations, increasing citation numbers, ensuring good scientific practice, enhancing transparency and reproducibility, as well as boosting the visibility of research in society.
In this workshop centered on an archaeobotanical research project at the Neolithic World Heritage site Göbekli Tepe, we will present and test selected methods, approaches, and tools to implement Open Science in a practical and low-threshold way.
The workshop is aimed at researchers of all career levels and collection managers working with data and objects from Earth and human history research who want to learn more about what Open Science is, its benefits, how to integrate it into their research process, and how to address challenges.
The course will be held in English and will take place on-site at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin.
